It is exhausting. But when you hear Elise or Althea mutter the words, "Da-Da" or give you a kiss, walk their first steps towards you, or like Jordan learn to say, "O shit!" .. you'll realize (if you don't already) it's way worth it. Eventually you will get more sleep but that will come when they need you less and it's a little bitter sweet. So true, the hours just become one long hour. It is exhausting.
