Elise loves banging on plastic noise making devices.
We are six months old now (big girls) and scooting. This will lead, invariably, to army crawling, followed shortly thereafter by full-on crawling. This will lead to tripodding and then walking, which will lead, invariably to running. Finally, this will lead to full soccer scholarships to college.
The girls are 6 months old now and babbling, kicking, laughing hysterically at each other and themselves in the mirror (and is there a difference, since they’re identical?) and trying very hard to stand on my stomach unaided. There’s a great deal of wobbling and drool.
Thus proving that this season’s American Idol is totally the pits, we learned last week that even Althea, normally ALL ABOUT singing competiton game shows could not stay awake through an episode.
We’ve been waiting for this for a long time. After enduring momentary auditory glimpses of the girls laughing, today I found “The Button,” and when zrbrted (see video), it makes them laugh. Out loud. Again and again. LOL
Althea and Elise prefer to eat their snazzy new bibs than to wear them.
Elise and Althea playin’ footsie on the couch. 3 months.
Elise will be 12 weeks old on Monday. She’s recently become aware of her hands, and that she can suck on them. I think she’s aiming for her thumb, but more often than not, getting an as-yet-uncoordinated fistful of wayward fingers either in her eyes or up her nose. It’s cute, and the loud, wet and sloppy sucking sounds make me laugh every time.
