Notable accomplishements and notes –
- Burps are becoming truly impressive.
- Neck and head control are rockin’ and rollin. Most of the time, they appear bored with resting their heads, and insist on swinging their mostly-well-supported heads in all directions. Sometimes, right into my collarbone which elicits the slow crescendo “that hurts” cry.
- Learned about this “that hurts” cry when they got their first round of booster shots. Don’t get me started about booster shots.
- Smiles are becoming more predictable and responsive (as opposed to merely reflexive). Laughter is still limited to when they’re asleep. I’m still trying to figure out what babies find funny. I mean, they haven’t seen “Airplane!” yet.
- They smile at me when I get home from work.
