This is me.  I’m not making this up.  Ian can vouch for this.

This is a video of reasonably lengthy proportions, so be forewarned that aside from an abundance of cuteness and giggling (and one surprising jolt), this video is devoid of explosions, romance or intrigue.

I was quick enough with the camera to catch this the first time I saw it.  Cracking up at each other, unaided and on their own.

Althea first.  Then, Elise.

7 months.  Althea digs sitting up.  Elise?  Happy to smile.

Something’s screwed up with my camera, lately.  It’s jumping a lot.  Need to replace it, AND the still camera, with something of higher quality.  After all, why document and celebrate top quality babies with less than top quality equipment?

Not to be upstaged by her little sister, Elise insisted I post this video of her laughing at her mother.

When Althea gets into a certain kind of mood, she bounces uncontrollably.  Certain flailing, celebratory exclamations can make her do this on command.

Yaaaay!  Boing!

Elise and Althea are THIS close to full-on crawling.  Althea’s done one ninja-roll but I failed to capture it on video.  Elise is pouring the energy that Althea’s expending on athletic endeavors into smiling and giggling instead.  She’s not too far behind Althea in the crawling department, though.

7 months old and feeding themselves already.  Next week we’re going to teach them how to bathe themselves and mow the lawn.
